Above Eleven has been named Best Alfresco Bar at the 2026 BK B.A.D. Awards, a milestone for a rooftop that first opened on Sukhumvit Soi 11 back in 2012. "When we opened 14 years ago, we could never have imagined where it would take us," said Rohit Sachdev, founder and CEO of Soho Hospitality, the group behind the bar.
The concept
Above Eleven built its name on Nikkei cuisine, a fusion of Peruvian and Japanese flavours, paired with cocktails, music and panoramic skyline views. The rooftop draws its energy from an unlikely reference point: the buzz of New York's Central Park, reimagined above the streets of Bangkok.
From Bangkok to the world
The award caps off a bigger story of growth. Above Eleven has already expanded to Dubai, with a Sri Lanka opening planned for 2027. It's one of several concepts under Soho Hospitality, alongside Cantina, Charcoal Tandoori, Havana Social, Yankii, SOHO Pizza and APT101.
