How Eventedge works

How enquiries, fees, venue information, reviews and editorial content are handled on Eventedge.

For event organisers

Eventedge helps organisers compare Bangkok venues and send an event brief. Browsing listings and sending an enquiry are free for organisers. A listing price is an indication, not a final offer: the venue confirms availability, the final package, taxes, service charges, minimum spend and cancellation terms.

Submitting a brief does not create a booking. A booking exists only after the venue and organiser agree on the date, scope and commercial terms. Eventedge does not currently collect venue payments through the public enquiry flow; deposits and final payments are arranged directly with the venue unless a future checkout clearly states otherwise.

What happens after an enquiry

For a claimed venue, the enquiry is recorded in Eventedge and routed to the venue conversation. For an unclaimed directory listing, Eventedge records the request and the operations team may contact the venue using its public business details. Contact-form submissions show a success message only after the delivery service accepts the message.

Response times depend on the venue, date and complexity of the request. Eventedge shows an estimated response time only when enough first-party conversation history exists; otherwise no response-time promise is made. Organisers should confirm urgent deadlines in their message.

Fees and commercial relationships

Eventedge does not add a booking fee for organisers who browse or send enquiries. Venue partners may have a separate commercial agreement with Eventedge, including a fixed commission on a confirmed booking. That partner arrangement does not replace the venue’s obligation to provide the organiser with clear final pricing and terms.

Venue verification and data sources

Claimed venue profiles contain information supplied or approved by a venue owner and reviewed for the core fields needed to publish: identity, location, contact route, capacity, pricing indication and event suitability. “Claimed” or “curated” does not mean Eventedge guarantees availability, licensing, safety compliance or every operational detail.

Unclaimed listings are labelled as such. Their public business facts may originate from Google Maps or the venue’s own website and can change without notice. Eventedge does not present third-party Google ratings as Eventedge review markup. Verified Eventedge reviews are shown separately and can be submitted only through the platform’s review workflow.

Freshness and corrections

Venue owners can update claimed profiles. Eventedge also reviews material corrections reported by users or venues. Capacity, layouts, prices, opening hours and packages should always be reconfirmed for the requested date. When two public facts conflict, the listing should use the most specific venue-approved value and withhold unsupported claims.

To report an error, include the venue name, the field that needs correction and a source in the contact form. Eventedge prioritises corrections that affect identity, location, capacity, price, availability or user safety.

Editorial policy

Eventedge planning guides are maintained by the Eventedge Editorial Team. Articles should identify their publication and update dates, link to useful primary sources for factual or time-sensitive claims, and distinguish editorial guidance from venue-provided commercial information. Placeholder author names are not used publicly.

Editorial pages are written to help organisers make a decision, not to manufacture search pages. New district or intent pages remain out of search indexing until they have sufficient relevant inventory and genuinely distinct local content.

Questions or corrections?

Send the relevant venue or article URL and the evidence for the correction. The form reports delivery failures instead of simulating success.
